Nous partits als Països Baixos i a Espanya. Quins factors n’expliquen el sorgiment?

Resum

L'objectiu d'aquest article és aprofundir en les explicacions sobre l'emergència de nous partits. En concret, s'estudia quines qüestions han estat centrals en els discursos de les noves formacions i fins a quin punt aquests temes 1) són demandes de la societat (demand syde) i 2) ja havien estat abordats pels partits establerts (supply syde). Per fer-ho, utilitzant els casos d'Espanya i els Països Baixos, analitzem els programes electorals de les noves formacions polítiques, identifiquem els temes principals del seu discurs, amb enquestes d'opinió veiem les principals preocupacions d'espanyols i holandesos i, gràcies al Comparative Manifestos Project, comprovem fins a quin punt aquests temes no havien estat abordats prèviament per les forces tradicionals. Els nostres resultats mostren que, mentre que als Països Baixos els temes dels nous partits a penes són nomenats per les formacions tradicionals, a Espanya els assumptes centrals són compartits per totes les formacions, i els partits emergents sorgeixen a causa dels sentiments de desconfiança envers els que ja estaven establerts.
