Qualitat, confiança i participació en enquestes

Aquesta recerca indaga en la qualitat i la confiança en les enquestes, com aquesta confiança és percebuda per la població que respon a les enquestes, i si l’afecta a l’hora participar-hi. Per a aquest propòsit, s’analitzen les opinions i les percepcions de les persones que són enquestades, si convergeixen en el que s’ha observat o en divergeixen des de la metodologia d’enquesta. Els models explicatius de la confiança en les enquestes, obtinguts mitjançant anàlisi discriminant i de regressió logística binària en l’enquesta de 2017 de percepció social de les enquestes, efectuada pel Centre d’Investigacions Sociològiques (CIS), mostren que la confiança, principalment, depèn de la utilitat que s’atribueixi a l’enquesta. Aquesta utilitat es connexiona amb la representativitat de la mostra i la validesa de les dades que aporti, a més de la consideració de beneficiosa per a les persones però no per a les empreses. La qualitat també és present en l’acceptació a participar en enquestes, encara que el tema de l’enquesta i la disponibilitat de temps per respondre-la adquireixen més protagonisme. Ambdós factors s’escapen de la voluntat de qui dissenya l’enquesta, no així el compliment de requisits de qualitat, els quals poden determinar participar o no en una enquesta segons la fiabilitat que es concedeixi a les dades que aporti. L’error total d’enquesta encara constitueix un marc teòric idoni per avaluar-ne la qualitat, que no ha de quedar circumscrita als errors de mostreig i de no resposta.
