The Enterprise Culture in Andalusia. A Sociological Study of the Small Enterprise
Abstract
The relation existing between culture and socio-economic development has been treated by sociology from his first beginnings like discipline born of industrial, economic, social and political transformations occurred in the last century. The different structures that conform each society display as well materialization in the time of that interaction and, therefore, at the time of evaluating the socio-economic development of a region, nation and/or society, it is necessary to analyze and to diagnose the indisociable relation that exists between culture —values, beliefs, norms, rituals, symbols and customs— and socio-economic development. The organizations, specifically the enterprises, constitute one of the most prominent reflections at the moment when we want to study the relation between both factors. In this article, we deal with the relation that exists between culture and socio-economic development in Andalusia through one of its most important phases: the evident causality between the enterprise culture in force in the enterprise ecosystem represented by small enterprises, and the nature of its management in the different areas that constitue it.Keywords
