The future of religion in Spain

Abstract

The article analizes new forms of religiosity, result o Spain’s social change. The framework of this article is not religious sociology in ecclesiastical terms but the explanation of the secularization process in relation to the process of urbanization and modernization. Youth level of education is a variable to take into account. New values and demographic aspects as regards the age of priests in Spain are taken into account to explain the decrease of religious practice in contemporary Spain. (Redaction)
