The theory of social networks
Abstract
The theory of Social Networks is an approach where theory, conceptual machinery, methods and research techniques are reciprocally supported. The new perspective that this theory introduces in Sociology is the relational one with a structural orientation, that is to say, that one where the links or relationships between entities are the basic unites of gerting information and of doing analysis. This paper is a general introduction to Network Theory; in the future, we will contribute with empirical analysis. Keywords
