Las representaciones en el mundo de la vida cotidiana
Abstract
This research did not seek to remain at a level of analysis of social life that we have called objectifiable but ventured into another level; that is to say, it did not only seek to study the relations between the areas of production, reproduction and free time using a series of indicators of facts or activities, but also attempted to study these relations in the levels of behavioural patterns, attitudes and cognitive representations. The basic idea was that social life is not only approached, constructed and carried out in the field of the objectified activities but also in that of habits, whether in the form of attitudes or representations. The most specific objective in this article only refers to the analysis of the representations that people make of each of the areas and of their articulation in the form of ways of representation or daily knowledge. The data for studying the attitudes and representations were obtained by returning to the interviewees and taking a smaller sample based on the typologies obtained in the previous levels of analysis. This paper is part of a research work whose results are in this PAPERS volume. The paper is autonomous but the reading of the other papers of this volum can help to contextualize it.Keywords
