Abstract

This article is part of a book on Marx (sin ismos) written by Francisco Fernández Buey. This work pretends to understand Marx, discerning him of Marxism and what others have said and done on his and against his name: Marx is viewed not as an economic determinist but as a genial critical author whose message is that mankind needs to be liberated of its economic determinants. The reading of Korsch, Rubel and Sacristán, the comparison of Marx and Communism with Jesus and Christians’ history, as well as the images of some big films about this theme, inspire the relate of this book.
