Local development policies in Catalonia

Abstract

This paper concerns local development policies in Catalonia. Particular attention is devoted to the rapid growth in a vast pool of local employment initiatives; there is gap in their coordination and a long-term vision is needed in order to achieve positive results and to ensure the quality of the created employment.
