The News Selection as an Indicator of the Inequality Between Nations
Abstract
The article describes the structure of news which appear in the international pages of the most read newspapers in the province of Alicante. The content analysis technique is used to classify the whole international news items and thus, the authot makes the worls cognitive map that readers can receive, through the determination of the presence and the absence of countries. The main goal is to find out the quantity of inequality among nations described by the media map.Keywords
