Are social relations a source of resources? A definition of social capital
Abstract
In this article it is presented a definition of the concept of social capital. Social capital is understood as resources —obligations of reciprocity and information— derived from social networks. It is also presented some arguments against the usual definitions of social capital found in the literature are also presented.Keywords
