A propòsit de l’acció, l’estructura i el canvi

Abstract

The aim of this article is to contribute with elements of reflection on some key concepts of sociology which, although being as old as the discipline itself, still keep a certain level of controversy. The guiding thread of this reflection will be the relationship between sociological knowledge and Darwin’s contributions and, therefore, between biological evolution and social change. This reflection will be made by some authors who, despite their differences, may be complementary in many aspects and allow for an enlightening and useful ointegration for the students of sociology to which this texy is especially addressed.
