Abstract

This section offers a State of the arts on youth research in Catalonia. In the first part («A: Youth research and the role of the Catalan Youth Observatory»), the different institutional strategies of youth research are described; the Catalan Youth Observatory (Catalan Government) is described; the characteristics and evolution of the youth research field are analysed; and the challenges on this field are also analysed. The second part («B: Research notes») gathers several notes on the main youth researches carried out in recent years through the Catalan Youth Observatory. The third part («C: Bibliography») presents a bibliography of some of the Catalan youth researches that have appeared since 2.000.
