Clash of Civilizations, Covenants and Posibilities: Social Theory Before the War
Abstract
This paper analyzes the sociological repercusions of formulations such as the «clash of civilizations» and the «alliance of civilizations» within the context of a broad globalization which includes not only capitals, technology and the information society but also the technical instruments of mass extermination which shape an important change in the concept of geo-war that shifts into the concept of info-war, analyzing the contributions of Bauman, Joas and Alexander.Keywords
