Do Spanish Philologists possess the adequate education for the European current labor market?
Abstract
This paper offers some results from a study on the professional life of graduates in Philology in Spain. Philologists’ global assessment of their career is that it provides the content for access to culture and knowledge. However, their possibilities for obtaining a job are scarce both because of the lack of job opportunities for these graduates and the ill-designed curriculum for their professional life. Finally, the negative and positive aspects in the curriculum design related to obtaining a job in Europe space are indicated.Keywords
