Borders, migration and citizenship
Abstract
The proliferation of boundaries, i.e. their constant fall and re-composition, is one of the most evident outcomes of globalisation. Setting off from this statement, the author explores the new nature that boundaries are assuming, with a particular reference to contemporary migratory flows, their «turbulent» aspects and associated processes of transformation and re-definition of citizenship. Keywords
