Abstract

In this article we have emphasized the importance of occupational socialization, more precisely the concept of career, as a key element adult socialization. In this way, we have revised some contributions o the biographical sociology on the subject of the teaching career. This aforesaid revision faces the double dimension theorethical and methodological, of recent studies on the interdepence of a teacher's life-span and his socio-historical and organizational texts.
