Aging through Gerontological Plans

Abstract

This article analyses the contents of three already published gerontological plans related to three CCAA: Euskadi, Castilla y León and Valencia. The following issues are analysed: age groups limit, the concept of oldness that arises from these plans, the family role, the depth of knowledge of tanget realities and impact on them, the territory, the alternative services to residential institutionalisation, profesional training and their evolution process. The three plans are compared by drawing differencies and similarities between them. New perspectives to develop plans in order to evaluate them are recomended.
