Abstract

As was announced, the research project analysed each area before producing a general typology of their articulation. Although the available data of the social survey were neither sufficient nor the most relevant for producing a typology of reproductive work, an effort was made in this direction and above all the need was detected to improve and to adjust the indicators of large surveys dealing with this problem. Therefore, in a second field work that was more oriented at examining attitudes and representations, the interviewees were also asked to give more specific and individual information in order to analyse the reproduction environment, for example by taking and considering data more related to care of persons and the members of the home, family responsibilities, decisions taken in response to certain situations, etc. This paper is part of a research work whose results are in this PAPERS volume. The paper is autonomous but the reading of the other papers of this volum can help to contextualize it.
